Pilates is an amazing form of exercise that creates an internal physical transformation, and connects mind to body. Pilates is very versatile and can be adjusted to suit ANY body; EVERY BODY should include weekly Pilates in their life!

Unfortunately, everyday stresses can leave our bodies suffering with incorrect movement patterns and muscles imbalances that lead to pain, postural problems, and injuries – Pilates will re-educate your bodies movement patterns.

Classes

PRIVATE Pilates Class
Maximum 2 clients per class.

A completely unique and tailored class. Work one on one with your instructor in a private setting.

Are you new to Pilates? Do you want to concentrate on rehabilitation after injury, illness, surgery or pregnancy? Maybe you work better in a one on one situation? Maybe you already attend SMAPS Pilates class but want to expand your knowledge a little further? Or maybe our class times just don’t suit your busy schedule? Build confidence in your connection; create a home-based program; work on connection issues – it’s your class, and it’s up to you!

All clients intending to join Studio Pilates must complete a Private Pilates class first.

PRIVATE Mat Pilates for Pre & Postnatal
Maximum 1 client per class – mat-based exercises using small apparatus.

This PRIVATE MAT PILATES class has been specifically designed for pregnancy and postnatal recovery.

Build strength and balance throughout your pregnancy while you prepare your body for labour. Rehab post pregnancy with a focus on pelvic stability, posture correction, pelvic floor recovery and abdominal repair.

We can help you build confidence in your body as you move through your trimesters, birth and beyond.

STUDIO Pilates Class
Maximum 4 clients per class.

Your STUDIO class will be tailored to suit your body’s individual requirements. Using a combination of all our large equipment (including Reformer Pilates) we run clinical and contemporary classes that cater for all bodies.

Studio classes can cater for:

  • Sport specific training
  • Pre and post-op clients
  • Disc injuries
  • Pregnancy (pre and post)
  • Matured, elderly and ‘keep-moving’ programs
  • Soft tissue injury rehabilitation and/or prevention
  • Physical disabilities
  • Advanced and technical goals
  • Core conditioning and posture correction

MAT Pilates Class
Maximum 4 clients per class – a group based class where newbies are welcome. Bookings are essential.

Mat Pilates is an active method of balance and strength with a focus on core stabilisation and postural alignment. Our Pilates classes will improve your flexibility, build strength without bulk and streamline your body.  Want to know the BEST thing about our style of Mat Pilates? It’s SUPER versatile and can be adjusted to suit EVERY BODY!

Our are perfect for newbies and our experienced clients alike.  All clients perform the same series of mat based exercises designed to improve your POSTURE, promote BODY AWARENESS and build STRENGTH, all while creating STABILITY and CORE CONNECTION.


BARRE’ Pilates Class
Maximum 4 clients per class – a group based class where newbies are welcome. Bookings are essential.

Our unique Barre’ Pilates class is a dynamic fusion of Pilates and Ballet Barre’ work.  Join this fitness-based class if you’re looking to tone, trim and tighten your booty in a fun, yet challenging 60 minutes.
