Myotherapy & Pilates for Pregnant Bodies

Somerville Myotherapy & Pilates Studio can support your pregnancy from the moment you find out you’re pregnant until the time you are overdue. Pregnancy Massage and Studio Pilates at SMAPS will nurture and support your changing body helping you stay pain-free and can be incorporated into any pregnancy care plan.

For pregnant bodies we recommend:
Regular Treatment, Studio Pilates and/or Barré Pilates.
• Focus on abdominal and pelvic floor muscles
• Support pregnancy posture
• Maintain fitness and strength
• Reduce muscle pain, tension and swelling
• Prevent abdominal separation and pelvic pain

 

Mums & Bubs Pilates

Escape the stresses of daily life and fall in love with taking care of yourself.
Our Mums & Bubs classes are baby, pram and breastfeeding friendly, and our admin team are always on hand to give
cuddles and rock prams.

For new mummies we recommend:
Mums & Bubs Mat Pilates and/or Barré Pilates.
• Focus on abdominal and pelvic floor muscles
• Correct pregnancy posture
• Regain lost fitness and strength
• Socialise with other local mothers and babies
